Blonde opalescent topped with a generous crown of foam.  The complex aromas of citrus and passion fruit immediately draw you in to take the first sip.  The authentic Saison yeast contributes these same fruit noes plus spicy character to the flavor.  The result is a lively beer that combines the ingenuity of the new world and the rustic character of the old continent." - Label

Trou Diable Punkrauch...$6.49 / 20oz
Old School a la Hanson
John Wright (Nomeansno, Hanson Brothers), respected for his contribution to punk rock music during the last three decades, is also a passionate amateur-brewer.  After all these years on state, here's the opportunity for you to hold him in your hand.  Total goombah!
Punk Rauch is a smoke lager in the old Bavarian tradition introduced to modern barrel aging.    It offers a scent of earthy hops on a background of wood and smoked ham.  The taste, light and crusty, provides a short sensation of sweet malt, quickly instigating a lively scrap with toasty resinous smoke, reminiscent  of a tasty brew around the campfire.
