Domaine Gerard Fiou is the new artisan vineyard from the renowned winemaking family of Henri Bourgeois in Sancerre, France. The Bourgeois and Fiou families have a passion for producing the finest quality wines imaginable, clearly supported by their international reputation as a world-class producer. The Fiou vineyards sit on a hillside overlooking the charming village of Saint-Satur in the heart of the Sancerre appellation. Here the rich soils of the river grace the vineyards with flinty Silex stones to create complex expressive wines noted for their rich fruit flavors, elegance, optimum minerality, and depth of character. Low yields, hand picking and sorting, organic farming, sustainable production methods, are the magic combination for creating this Sancerre par excellence!
