2012 Beaux Freres Winery Willamette

2012 Beaux Freres Pinot Noir The Beaux Freres Vineyard Ribbon Ridge...$85.99
Bright violet color. Explosive, seductively perfumed aromas of black raspberry, potpourri, smoky Indian spices and cola, with an intense mineral quality adding lift and focus. Sweet, penetrating and deeply concentrated, offering an array of red and dark berry flavors and suggestions of five-spice powder, mocha and candied flowers. Reaches every corner of the palate, showing a suave blend of richness and vivacity, with no rough edges. Finishes spicy, smoky and extremely long, leaving an alluring dark berry liqueur note behind.
Rated 94/100 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

2012 Beaux Freres Winery Willamette Valley Pinot Noir....$57.99
This wine is sold out at the winery already, and though the wines will never be reviewed by The Wine Advocate, as Robert Parker himself is part owner of Beaux Freres Winery, Mr. Parker did mention the 2012 vintage in response to glowing praise of his 2011 wines “Hard to believe anyone can get very excited over 2011....but chacun son gout as the French say...2012 is the real deal in Oregon....just saying.... “ Robert Parker The Wine Advocate
The 2012 Vintage as a whole in Oregon has been rated 92-95/100 by the Wine Spectator compared to 87/100 for the 2011 vintage in which the Beaux Freres Willamette Valley bottling scored 93/100, all this adds up to one exceptional bottle of wine. Don't wait till the scores come out it will be long gone by then
