Our best value in Cabernet Sauvignon...

This is now our 3rd vintage of Villa des Anges Cabernet.   It was one of our top selling red wines last year.  The 2010 is another stellar vintage.

2010 Villa des Anges Cabernet Sauvignon....$9.99
Jacqueline Menard de Ginestous’s Beziers-based Espitalet des Anges – advised by oenologist Jeff Carrel – is responsible for the wines sold in the U.S. under the Villa des Anges label, and their 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon represents another surprising success and outstanding value. Black currant, beet root, and tobacco tread a fine line between the sweetly ripe, black-fruited and the herbal-vegetal aspects of Cabernet. This is impressively polished for an inexpensive tank-rendered wine let alone a Cabernet Sauvignon, while salt, walnut bitterness, and berry skin tartness make for an invigorating tang and suggestions of bark, smoky black tea, and crushed stone for some depth and intrigue in its lingering finish. I’d plan on serving it over the next 12-18 months."
