Err, no David Blackmore did NOT lead any tastings of barrels at the SMWS. He might have sniffed a few but this is all Glenmorangie spin to make their people look credible.
Glenmorangie, please stop the tony blair spin style of marketing, its so 90's.

I'd be curious to know how "Anonymous" has this information which would make their statements "credible"? Are they on the SMWS tasting panel?

Everyone I've ever met from Glenmorangie, including Master Distiller, seem to be pretty credible.

Either way, all that matters to me is that Glenmorangie makes some delicious Single Malts that taste soo good when it hits your lips!!

I love Scotch. Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch...Can't wait to try the Artein and revisit The Signet!
Not a bad way to kick off the weekend...Cheers!!

Anonymous, I'm interested in your comments especially about my time at the SMWS. Perhaps if you send me your phone number we can discuss this privately so we can get your facts straight?

Or come to the tasting tonight and ask him directly.
