Another brewer without a brewery. This beer is brewed at Amager Bryghus

Xbeeriment #44 Smoked Stout...$9.49 / pint "NOTE! In the US this beer is marketed as Xbeeriment #44. The reason for this is that any references to President Obama would only be permitted by US authorities if we had a written permission from the White House. So the dressing’s changed, but the beer stays the same!

English: Brewed to celebrate Barack Obama’s inaugural as the 44th President of the United States, and the first black person to hold the office. A potent stout with a fair amount of peated malt in the grain bill. This adds a smoky character to the beer which obviously also has roasted aromas from the dark malts and roasted barley as well as loads of citrusy hop notes from the US hop varieties." -- RateBeer

"A stout originally brewed to celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama as the first black President of the United States. President Obama stated during his election campaign that he'd given up smoking, but was still struggling to keep away from the cigarettes. So we were inspired to use a bit of peat smoked malt in this beer to create a rich, complex stout. Drier than most stouts at a premium strength and much hoppier due to rich doses of US hops added late in the brewing process." -- Xbeeriment
