Chandler Hill Winery

Have you checked out Missouri's newest winery? (It has been open about six weeks.) It has one of the best views in Missouri wine country. The winery is gorgeous and they have an amazing deck that overlooks the hills of Missouri wine country. You can enjoy their Missouri wine or their California wine (they also have a few beers if you are not a wine drinker) along with a great food menu. We had a great lunch out on the deck.

"From our magnificent tasting room and deck overlooking our vineyards, hidden lake and the inspiring Osage valley teeming with wildlife to our exquisite Missouri and California vintages, delicious food and enticing gifts, Chandler Hill is an enchanting destination to visit time and time again." -- Chandler Hills

We also stock their California Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon at our stores. Give them a try!

Ask them why they refuse to pay their contractors that built this place for them.....Hmmmmm

Have been there twice (didn't want to judge on one visit), and each time have left wondering why the people managing the place are sarcastic, snippy, and give the impression that they're trying to one-up the customer. Not impressed with anything there but the view...

Was either ignored during the wine tasting, or was hurried. Don't come here expecting to be told anything about their overpriced wine. Apparently their interest wanes once you hand over the $10 fee for tasting. I won't visit again...

The tasting room and deck are much nicer than most wineries in the area. Unfortunately the wine is fairly mediocre. Most of the California wines were acceptable, but the Missouri wines, which I love and drink frequently at other wineries, were barely acceptable. From what I understand, only the label on the bottle is theirs at this point. The wines are all made elsewhere.
