Chinese Wine

Need some wine to drink while watching the Olympics in China?
"China is set to establish itself as a leading producer of volume of wine, but Berry [Berry Bros. & Rudd] believes China also has all the essential ingredients to make fine wine to rival the best Bordeaux."
-- Matt Kramer, The Wine Spectator

2005 Dragon's Hollow Cabernet Sauvginon...$11.99
This wine will suprise you when you taste it for the first time. You would never guess it is from China. It is an unoaked Cabernet that actually tastes like a Cabernet, I would have guessed from South American. It has good fruit and that touch of green pepper you would expect in a Chilean Cabernet. The fruit flavors are more dark like blackberry, currant and plums. It is well balanced and medium bodied. China is already the fifth largest wine producing country in the world!
Watch for the Chardonnay coming soon also!!
